Am I crazy?

Hi everyone. Just taking a moment to myself to read through comments and reply back. I'm so sorry it took so long on some. I do read them, but sometimes I miss questions because I never get alone time. (In fact, I can hear my goober yelling at the dog to get off her hair. Sigh. Another short post!).

I started a Facebook fan page. I hope you will all go take one look, fall madly in love and buy it all! LOL, okay, okay, at the very least "Like" it and let me know that I'm not going crazy to try and do this and that I'm not alone out here.

Well, that's all the time I seem to have because the dog has found me and now I have to play with her.

What's coming up next ...

Hi all! I just noticed that I let a whole month go by without posting ANYTHING! That's never a good thing in the life of a crafter! But, I have been very busy. With moving and then working part time at my daughter's school (teaching PE ... being outside all day is very draining! I need to take a nap when I get home! LOL). But I wanted to give you all a little heads up on things to look forward to in the coming month.

Mini Paper Bag Album:
All my friend Lynn had to say to me was "Hey, do you know how to make a mini album?" and I was hooked!!! My daughter's teacher's son is either turning one or just turned one so I decided to make her a mini album to put all her photos in. So far, it's pretty bare, but I'm working on it a little each day.

Haunted House Cake:
My daughter's school is holding a Halloween Carnival on the 29th and each class is tasked with putting together a themed basket for raffle (we picked "Around the Campfire". The whole class smells like marshmellows!) and also entering a cake for the cake walk. I volunteered to make the cake and have decided (because I'm a glutton for punishment) to make a three tiered haunted house. I spent all day yesterday doing "sugar work" (well, not in the traditional sense of the term ... I was color flowing, but that sounds hokey!). I only got half of what I needed shaped and then I came home after having dinner with family to find tiny kitty footprints all through out the pieces. Lucky, I made extra! Phew!

So, needless to say that there will be lots of pictures of both coming up as they are completed!

One loooooooong vacation ...

... Then we moved! My scrap room is a mess! There are boxes everywhere and to make matters worse, I went from having a walk in closet to store all my stuff in to a normal non-walk in kind! Trying to figure out 1) Where to put everything and 2) where is it all!? If you ask my husband, he gives you the same answer, "In a box". LOL. He's too cute!

So, I haven't forgotten about this blog, I promise, I'm just recovering from a long vacation (was only supposed to be 2 weeks and it turned into 2 months somehow) and then my wonderful husband found a house and moved us while we were gone so, yes, it is all in a box somewhere! LOL. I have a few birthday parties coming up so I need to find all my stuff to make some cards and get them posted! I have this one idea for a fish bowl that I'm DYING to get done and show you guys! :D

Hello out there in blogland! I'm still here. I've been really busy helping my good friend open up her new store and then they decided they wanted to enter this Dungeons and Dragons contest so we've been trying like crazy people to meet the deadline. Phew! We can totally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, or, I guess in this case, the dungeon! LOL.

Good news! I have been asked to make wedding invitations!! Woo hoo! So, I will have a new invitation to post soon! Once I get all the mats together (and pricing), I will post one! I'm so excited! It's really going to be very pretty.

And, I haven't forgotten about the teapot one! That one is also coming up in May. I'm just waiting on my friend to get all the information to me (and the paper, the lady didn't like my purple and green idea, so, I told her to find me the paper she had in mind and I'd use that).

Have to run off now and take a skills test (I might have a part time job soon!) Fingers crossed!

Been awhile ... I know

Hi all. Just wanted to let you know that I'm now working on not one, but TWO different invitations. One is for my sister's baby shower (should have a picture up this week) and the other is for a bridal shower tea (which, I'm drinking at the moment ... mmmm ... yummy, warm goodness!). The tea invite will be up later this year since the shower itself isn't until May, but, you know me, I like to get things done EARLY! LOL.

First day

Hi all. I'm so excited to share my creations (and life) with all of you out there. First of all, thank you for stopping by and checking me out. I love, love, love, love paper. I've been buying it for years and hording it just waiting for that "right time" to use it and I finally decided that if I waited for that, then I might as well be buried with it because there isn't any better "time" than "right" now! LOL.

So, with that, let's get this party started! I have a bunch of pictures of cards and such that I've made in the past that I'm going to start posting. I will try my best to list the exact materials I can, if I remember them, otherwise, I apologize now for not knowing some of them. :D
